Info for Families

Roxbury Prep believes in strong collaboration between teachers, students, families, and school leaders.

Partnering with families is vital to ensuring the success of our students and schools. We recognize that we cannot fulfill our mission of preparing students to enter, succeed in, and graduate from college without the support of our families. Family events are held at each campus at least once every two months. Flyers and messages for these events are sent home inviting families to the upcoming meetings or events, and food/child care are always provided.

In addition to campus events, Roxbury Prep is committed to maintaining frequent communication with our families by offering the following:

  • Back-to-school nights

  • Family potluck dinners

  • Campus newsletters/postcards

  • Teacher-family/Advisor-family phone calls

  • Monthly progress reports and end-of-quarter report cards

  • Conferences with students, families, and teachers

  • Community meeting

  • Sports banquets

  • Summer placement resources

  • Other Saturday and evening programs for students and families
