Partnering with families is vital to ensuring the success of our students and schools. We recognize that we cannot fulfill our mission of preparing students to enter, succeed in, and graduate from college without the support of our families. Family events are held at each campus at least once every two months. Flyers and messages for these events are sent home inviting families to the upcoming meetings or events. Below are some additional examples of ways we partner with our families:

  • Advisory Calls: All students are assigned an advisor. Advisors call families every 2-3 weeks to provide updates. Of course, families are welcome to contact advisors as needed.
  • Family Council: Each Roxbury Prep campus has its own Family Council that meets 4-5 times per year. Please contact your school’s Office Manager to find out more about how to join!
  • Interpretation services: In-person and telephonic interpretation are are offered at our schools.
  • Family Newsletter: The network office produces a bimonthly newsletter to showcase all of our schools across the network, while each campus sends out monthly newsletters of their own.
  • Follow Us Online: Follow us on Twitter or Facebook to stay up to date with announcements and school happenings!
  • Special Education: We aim to provide all of our students with the resources needed to enter, succeed in, and graduate from college and have robust programming to support a diversity of learning styles and needs. If your student has an IEP, please get us a copy as soon as possible. If you are interested in learning more about our special education services, please contact your campus’s Office Manager, who will be able to connect you with the Individual Needs Coordinator at each campus.
  • Medical: We have a nurse available on staff at each campus.
  • Counseling: We have a full time school counselor or social worker at each campus.

Please contact your child’s school for more information regarding summer reading assignments.
